Caixa Empreender Award

Caixa Capitalis the Private Equity and Venture Capital fund management company of Portugal’s largest banking group Caixa Geral de Depósitos, present in over 20 countries. Caixa Capital is a pioneering operator in the Portuguese market, with 500 million Euros under management and a total potential capital of 700 million euros for its managed funds. Caixa Capital’s Venture Capital team partners with international funds to support global expansion of Portugal related startups with team members specialized in ICT, digital, health tech, and smart energy & materials.

The Caixa Empreender Award will be held on March 16th at Culturgest in Lisbon. 800 participants attended last year, including more than 20 European VCs. You don't want to miss this 3rd edition of the event showcasing the best of the Portuguese tech startup ecosystem!
The event will bring together numerous national and international investors, startups, incubators, research centers, and universities to reward the most promising startup of 2016. The winner to be invested by Caixa Capital will be selected from Portugal’s major acceleration programs.
