Board Games in Funchal is a free monthly meetup in the heart of Funchal. We play in English (and sometimes Portuguese). The community welcomes both casual and advanced players. On demand we can organize the meetings with advanced and longer games.

This in-person event will be held at Urban Jazz Pizzeria &amp; Cafe, the perfect setting for an evening of fun and friendly competition. Among the available games you will find:As always: 🏘️ Catan is a resource management and trading game where players build settlements, roads, and cities on a modular hexagonal board representing an uncharted island. Players gather resources like wood, brick, wheat, sheep, and ore based on dice rolls and strategically trade with others to expand their territories.The game combines strategy, negotiation, and luck, with the goal of earning 10 victory points through development and expansion.
