Prenatal + Postnatal Yoga Class
Come join us at LX Portal Yoga for a Prenatal + Postnatal Yoga Class! This class is for both expecting and new mothers to come together in one supportive space. Pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period are times when the body takes the lead, and in this transformative chapter there is a powerful opportunity to connect more deeply with your body.
We will explore breath awareness, gentle yet strengthening movement linked with breath, pelvic floor connection, grounding postures, and supported release. You will be offered with options so that it feels right for where you are, whether preparing for birth or gently rebuilding afterward. We hope that this experience will empower you with tools to return to in daily life, a balance of strength and release in your body, and the support of community around you.
Instructor: Berrak Atik of Shush Yoga.
Berrak Atik is a 200-hour RYT yoga instructor passionate about guiding people into a deeper connection with their bodies. She recently completed an 85-hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training with Planting Seeds in New York. Her perinatal approach weaves breath, body awareness, and a balance of strengthening and restorative movement. These practices support pregnant bodies in preparing for labor and contractions, while offering new mothers tools to rebuild, renew, and meet the postnatal chapter with confidence. She is dedicated to empowering women to trust the wisdom of their bodies throughout this transformative chapter.

Arrival time is 15 minutes before class and check in closes 2 minutes prior to the start of class. No late entry.
Phones are not allowed in class.
Please leave your phone in your bag and ensure that your phone is either off or on silent during class.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to stretch and move freely.
We have a bathroom and a changing room available.
Mats are provided free of charge. You are also welcome to bring your own mat.
The class will be taught in English.
