The artist Nansi Hemming carved using the cypress wood (Cupressus lusitanica) a doe, two wolves, a bear and a totem that were placed in specific areas of the “Tapada de Monserrate” in Sintra.

These figures were chosen in order to represent some mammalian species that have lived in the Sintra region 💚🇵🇹🙌🏼 🦌🐺🐻🐾🪵
