Welcome to “Republic of Comedy”, the new international comedy club in Lisbon’s growing comedy scene! Bringing shows with the best local and international comedians at Xafarix, a historic venue tucked away in the heart of the city. This week we are proud to feature PATRICK MOORE!

After touring throughout Europe for the past year, MAMAS’ BOY is coming to Milan for the first time. MAMAS’ BOY has played in Barcelona, Vienna, Basel, Zurich, and Prague, along with sold-out shows in Dresden, Luxembourg, Innsbruck, Munich, and California.

Patrick Moore was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, and grew up on a diet of love, attention, and tofu. From getting crystals as a Christmas present to being certified as an energy healer at the age of six, his childhood was never the typical All-American experience. Having two moms was just the start.

MAMAS’ BOY is full of stories and jokes about Patrick’s experience growing up with gay parents in the 90s. From his unconventional childhood in California to his current life in Berlin with his German wife and family, the show provides plenty of fun detours along the way!

Republic of Comedy is a comedian-owned-and-run comedy club and cocktail bar in the heart of Lisbon producing shows ranging from open mics to international headliner solo shows and everything in between.

Get to know Patrick:

Patrick Moore is a stand-up comedian based in Berlin. He was a runner-up in the Berlin New Stand-Up Awards, headlined the Burning Mic Festival, and performs regularly at Berlin’s top English comedy club, Cosmic Comedy. He has been featured in showcases in the US and across Europe and runs a weekly showcase and several other shows in Berlin.
