Don’t miss the Closing Session of HiTech 2025 — the final milestone of the program, where fourteen research teams will take the stage to pitch the business cases behind the product concepts they developed over the past four months.

Each team has worked on transforming deep tech research into a market-ready solution, with the support of experienced mentors and through an intensive, hands-on training journey.

From sustainable materials and AI-powered health solutions to antimicrobial technologies and indoor air purification, these projects address real-world challenges through science-based innovation.

About HiTech:

HiTech is a hands-on program that empowers research teams from Portuguese R&D organisations to transform scientific discoveries into high-growth business opportunities - through training, advising, and mentoring. This year’s edition features two distinct tracks:
🚀 Technology Push, where teams developed their own deep tech projects; and
🎯 Market Pull, where teams addressed real-world challenges posed by Lameirinho, Utis, and Sonae Arauco.
