Paolo Marcelli (Italy) is an MSc graduate in Biomedical Engineering from Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, currently based in Lisbon as an affiliate researcher at ITI (Interactive Technologies Institute, University of Lisbon), where he’s developing an electroacoustic sound installation titled Meddle. Always interested in music, he discovered a passion for electronics through his MSc, starting to develop skills in music technology. Learning to repair, modify, and produce his own music equipment, he combined a solid theoretical grounding with hands-on knowledge of electronics fabrication, soldering, and PCB manufacturing through a mix of techniques. In his spare time, he volunteers at Prisma Estudios (Lisbon) as a sound technician and event organiser for the weekly acoustic jam sessions.
