What if making things with your hands was the whole plan?

Grab your friend, art supplies, blanket and join us in one of Porto's most beautiful parks — drawing, painting, journaling, snacking, talking, and having a genuinely good Saturday afternoon.

This is the very first Daydreamers gathering, and you're invited.

What is this, exactly?

An art picnic. You bring whatever art supplies you have (or want to try), a blanket to sit on, and some snacks. We spread out on the grass, make things, and enjoy each other's company. That's it. That's the whole plan.

There's no agenda, no instruction, no critique. You can sketch the trees, paint with watercolours, write in a journal, knit, make a collage, or just sit and watch. The only rule is: there are no rules.

Who is this for?

You. Seriously.

You don't need to be an artist. You don't need to be "good at drawing." You don't need to have picked up a pencil since primary school. If you've been wanting to do something creative but didn't know where to start — this is the place. If you've been looking for a chill way to meet people in Porto — this is also the place.

Come alone, come with a friend. Half of us will have come alone too.

What to bring

• Art supplies — sketchbook, pencils, pastels, watercolours, knitting supplies - whatever you like. Don't have any? Come anyway, we'll have some basics to share
• A blanket or yoga matt to sit on the grass
• Snacks and drinks — for yourself or to share. Think picnic vibes
• Sunscreen and water — we'll be outside for a couple of hours
• Good energy (bad drawings are very welcome)
