Women4Climate is a global training and mentoring programme that supports and inspires women to become the next generation of leaders in the climate actions and environmental sustainability fields.
The initiative comes to Portugal for the first time in the midst of Lisbon- European Green Capital 2020 by the Lisbon City Council, part of the C40 Cities - a global network of cities committed to the adoption of bold climate actions - to highlight the key role that women play in defending climate actions in cities; having as promoters, Startup Lisbon and Casa do Impacto / SCML.
During the past 8 months, these women worked on innovative ideas and projects in the priority areas of Lisbon European Green Capital 2020 – energy, mobility, water, noise, quality of air and efforts to combat climate change -, in line with the United Nations (UN) goals, part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
This is the day when the leaders of the 15 projects selected during the bootcamp, will present their pitch. We are going to learn how their services and products answer the tangible challenges to the planet’s sustainable future.
