Global recognition in information technology governance

Introduction
This course is designed for IT and business professionals who hold substantial positions in management, advisory or assurance related to the governance of enterprise IT, or otherwise support the governance of an enterprise’s IT, and wish to take the Certified Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) examination. Recognized internationally, CGEIT certification is issued by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). The curriculum covers all five of the key domains addressed in the exam: Framework for the Governance of Enterprise IT; Strategic Management; Benefits Realization; Risk Optimization; Resource Optimization.

Training Methodology
In this CGEIT preparation course the participants will revise the main concepts of Enterprise Governance of IT in accordance with the best practices of ISACA and the CGEIT certification domains, consolidate their knowledge through questions of exam preparation and in the end, perform a test simulation in order to assess the level of knowledge and the amount of effort needed to be aligned and to successfully pass the CGEIT certification exam.

Audience
Candidates and prospective candidates for the CGEIT examination and those wishing to expand their knowledge in the field of Enterprise Governance of IT.

Learning Objectives
At the end of the course, students should be able to:
- identify and apply the IT Governance best practices in an organization, ensuring that they deliver value to the business by aligning and response to the requirements thereof
- Apply and understand the best strategies in the IT Governance strategic management related issues
- Use the ISACA good practices identified in the benefits realization domain in order to produce the highest value of IT to the business
- Use the risk management and optimization methodologies in the Governance of IT
- Apply best practices in optimizing resources to ensure that they will be used as a critical support to the objectives of business and t the governance of IT
