Objectives of the Workshop

1. To engage the CCT Community in a workshop to critically access the state of

knowledge on current dilemmas in consumption;

2. To provide participants with a supportive and critical learning opportunity to

discuss their working papers and receive concrete feedback and guidance from

Senior Faculty Staff;

3. To offer a supportive and collaborative environment for students and

researchers in CCT and potentially developing collaborations across disciplines

and institutions.

Participants Selection

Participation is FREE but limited to a number maximum of participants (due to COVID-19 preventive measures).

Those wishing to present and receive feedback on their projects should submit the following:

1 - Title (without authors’ names and affiliations).

2 - A 50-120 word abstract. This should summarize the paper’s contribution(s).

3 - An extended abstract (750 to 1000-words) plus selected references, single-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman, with 1-inch margins. The extended abstract should provide a summary of the research, including the conceptual framework, relevant prior literature, methodology, data, findings, and conclusions. The extended abstract may also contain either one table or one figure. Manuscripts should be submitted in pdf. format in Portuguese, Spanish or English.

All applications (with or without submission) should be made through the website.

All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.

The selected abstracts will be published in the Workshop's Book of Abstracts (with ISBN).

The deadline for applications is July 21, 2021
