Discover the two most famous areas in Lisbon!

Beginning in one of the most iconic areas of Lisbon, the cultural hub of Portuguese poets and artists, our guide will explain the history of Chiado and interesting stories of the famous literature figures of Portuguese history. Chiado is also one of the newest neighbourhoods of Lisbon as it was almost completely destroyed in the 1755 earthquake and is now the most cosmopolitan and affluent areas of the city.

You will then walk the streets of the Barrio Alto, a quiet and charming neighbourhood during the day, which turns lively as soon as the sun goes down. The Barrio Alto is probably best known for its vibrant nightlife, however our expert guides will also explain the history and development of this up-and—coming area!
