5th Anniversary of ELIXIR Portugal

BioData.pt (https://biodata.pt) is the Portuguese infrastructure for biological data that operates the Portuguese node of ELIXIR. It focuses on the enrichment and enhancement of biological data through good practices in data management and information technology in order to support research in life sciences and contribute to society. BioData.pt prioritizes thematic areas such as health, sea, agriculture, forest and food.

ELIXIR Portugal is completing 5 years of excellence in supporting research, training and innovation in the national scientific system through management and advanced analysis of biological data. To celebrate this occurring, ELIXIR Portugal has decided to organize a dedicated day at the 10th Edition of the <a href="http://www.bioinformaticsopendays.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Bioinformatics Open Days </a>to showcase what has been done in the past few years but also to foster an active discussion regarding the increasingly emerging fields of bioinformatics and data management.
