2 Day "One & All Inclusive Carpentry- by Deborah Landry &Women's Carpentry
My art illuminates my personnel journey of enlightenment and bewilderment of being alive.Art is the core of my being. I embrace the idea that art is visual and can cross allboundaries, languages, cultures and communicate without words. As an artist, I believe we have the opportunity to be global communicators. Art opens the door for the communication to begin. My art reflects my diverse background and inquisitiveness to explore the human experience. My subjects are broad and encompasses botanical nature as well as human nature. My gardens provide me with many of my art materials as well as inspiration for imagery.Along with creating fine art (in the studio), I also design artistic community engaging public art projects. This is where the whole process of creating becomes part of the art. The meetings with communities, city officials, teaching workshops, and the process of creating a final work of art seamlessly become a the work of art. At the end everyone involved has s sense of ownership and a new appreciation for fellow humans and what communities can accomplish together.
