Hi, I’m Jessie!I’m the owner of Brush and Blooms Garden Center in Thiensville, where plants, flowers, art, and a whole lot of creativity come together.Before becoming a garden center owner, I was an art teacher with a love for just about every creative medium I could get my hands on—drawing, painting, ceramics, jewelry, photography, and more. In 2023, I traded the classroom for the greenhouse and took the leap to pursue my dream of creating a place where I could combine two of my favorite things: making beautiful things and helping things grow.That’s really what Brush and Blooms is all about. It’s a place to get your hands dirty, try something new, learn a skill, make something you’re proud of, and hopefully have a lot of fun along the way.My workshops are designed to be welcoming and approachable—whether you consider yourself super creative or you’re convinced you “aren’t artistic.” I’ll walk you through it, cheer you on, and probably send you home with something you didn’t know you could make!I can’t wait to create with you.
