These classes are for small businesses, nonprofits & creative professionals, facilitated by Distance Learning Media for the City of Austin. Complete any 6 classes to earn a City of Austin Business Skills Certificate or a Nonprofit Skills Certificate.

Welcome to Austin Small Business Week. This collection of classes is designed to help you gain the knowledge you need to start a business, maintain your business and expand your business.

BizAid Business Orientation provides a general overview of opening a small business or re-evaluating an existing business during its growth.

This collection of BizAid Business Orientation classes will be held at the Economic Development Department-Small Business Division office, located at 5202 East Ben White Blvd., Suite 300.

This collection of BizAid Business Orientation classes will be held at local Austin Public Library locations throughout Austin.

These videos do not count towards the 2024 Business Skills Certificate. If you can't attend a class virtually or in-person, the Small Business Division On-Demand Videos are perfect for you. Register for the class and watch the video when you have time.
