LX Reactor Workshop - Git & Git Hub

Git is a distributed revision control and source code management system. GitHub is a web-based hosting service for software development projects that use the Git revision control system. This workshop is an introduction to Git and GitHub. You will learn what these tools are, what they allow you to do and the basics on how to use them to organise your software and non-software projects. Examples will be given and you are expected to follow them through the workshop.

note: please bring Git installed on your machine so that the workshop can start right away. Creating a GitHub account is optional and can be done during the workshop.
